KL 3D2N Diet Course Trip

We talked about having our first course trip during our lunch at Harmoni Cafe.
I forgot who suggested KL to be our destination, but it was agreed by all on the spot.

It was Kim Ee's first flying experience and
she was super high that night though she was trying so hard to hide :P

At Subang Airport waiting for dad and hub :)

Hub helped to fetch some of the girls back to my house.
Those crazies were so eggcited complementing about him blablabla.

As a KL girl,
it's not my first time having friends as guests at my house
(after going through matriculation and all
I've had 2 times experience dealing with crazy people who don't mind to sleep in my living room lol).

Still, it's my first time having SIX including me in the not-so-spacious living room.

Credits to my shy shy bro who need to stand on the chair to take a photo of six women in "bed"

HAHAHA.

We talked our nights through,
managed to get a short rest to get ourselves refuel after the hectic Food Science paper we just finished in the morning,
and for the brand new day ahead!

We bought lunch buffet coupons from Groupon so we didn't take breakfast in the morning.
Thanks to daddy who fetched us to the LRT station -
Car was overloaded for 7 people with 5 big luggages to reach KL city,
so LRT was the cheapest and most convenient way.

Booked a hotel online first time ever through Agoda.com,
and here we are at Orange Pekoe Guesthouse!

The girls were exhausted walking around with their huge luggages from the Monorail station to the guesthouse.
(Yea we took a transit from LRT to Monorail fyi)
It wasn't a long walk but you know my direction senses urrrmmm I took quite some time to figure out the directions given by Orange Pekoe's receptionist.

It's a super duper lovely place to stay with reasonable price I'd say.
Immediately fell in love with this place when I was finding for a suitable stay for us,
glad that it didn't disappoint us :)

This is how it looks like when you first step in.
So vintage style so clean so happy!
And the receptionist (I think he's the boss, a tall handsome English guy phewwwit!)
The guesthouse's cleaners and guests greeted along way, too.
Simply love the way it was :D

It was too early to check-in,
luckily we were allowed to put our luggages in the living-room-styled-lobby.

Check out the little pantry!

Mad lurve :D

It's where we get to make our own simple breakfast, like cereal, fruits and coffee.
Simple design and the most important thing of all.

IT'S IN BLUE WHITE COMBINATION.

I SQUEAKED ON THE SPOT AND GOT A FEW NERVOUS LOOK FROM THE PEOPLE
BUT WHO CARES.

Oh and the lightning. Lovely.

The original plan and core of our whole KL course trip was to have a great feast at Jogoya Japanese Buffet Restaurant, Starhill Gallery.

BUT  we didn't end up having lunch there, coz it was too pricey, great disappointment it was :(
There's this CNY promotion going on but it isn't a better treat to our purses either since we plan to spend money on CNY shopping too.

Bumped into Daidomon Japanese BBQ Buffet at Groupon at a price of RM45 per head
(Jogoya RM95 omg -__-),
bought it online.
Japanese food la, still, not too bad after all we first thought.

AT FIRST WE THOUGHT.

Took taxi at a walking distance from Orange Pekoe, RM 30 for 6 pax.
We were kind of late so we didn't take the trouble to find out which route to take if we were to reach Daidomon with public tranport.

Reached Daidomon and began our feast!

Poor variety.  Poor service.  Poor quality of food.
Definitely not a place to be recommended.

Was a big disappointment for us all.
Sushi rice was watery I don't know why;
Scallops were limited for one set per guest;
No Unagi (eel fish) - totally unacceptable;
Cold tempuras;

NAH.

Food always looks better in photos anyway :P

Waiting for public bus to reach Times Square to shop and meet up with matriks' friends!

Lost our ways sooooo many times till no one could really remember.
Luckily the sun wasn't out nor raining, or we'd be pretty dead.

I hereby claim that I'm a Puchong girl, not a KL girl
*hands up*

After a short shopping session in Times Square, caught up with KMK old fellas.
Had dinner at Jalan Alor, the KL Food Street.

Had an early lou-sang with these crazies, I think the table got more portion than we do.
My uni gang officially met with my matriks gang yo.

Didn't talk much during the dinner,
maybe I'm a higher level slow cooker.

But still, it was different seeing and having them around :)

A few shots of us in bed again lol this time IS BED.

Look at the room's design again!

Irresistable.

RM180 for family room per night is definitely worth a stay!

Slight note:
Just that during the night the outer surrounding of the guesthouse'd be a bit of noise since there're pubs and drinking places around the place.

I even wrote a review for Orange Pekoe in Agoda.com haha,
now you can see my liking towards this guesthouse = beyond describable.

LOL

I lol-ed at my madness too hahahahaha
