Bangkok 5D4N Family Trip: Day 5

Flight schedule was on 6pm so we practically had half more day in Bangkok weeeeeeee.

I kinda miss home btw, first long distance vacation without having bro aside, felt a lil lonely sometimes.

Mom wanted to visit the Four-Faced-Buddha (四面佛)
Aunt said it was nearby so we had our simple breakfast in the room and started walking.

Didn't expect it to be in front of Isetan Shopping Mall.
Met a man who looked so alike with my KMK's Director (Pengarah)!
At first glimpse I was like, OMG TUAN PENGARAH RUPA-RUPANYA MEMANG ORANG SIAM.

But that guy was a police officer, so he claimed.
He said he would be taking a flight to Penang for a meeting,
or Kedah to get back to his duty as a pengarah lol.

He was so kind and passionate in giving us directions and instructions to
reach the true Four-Faced-Buddha Statue, which was not far ahead.
He took out his pen, showed his licences as a cop (macam yes), then drew us a map.
We didn't go in the end, since Uncle would be taking an earlier flight.

So being lost in a city we hardly understand much wasn't a clever idea.

Bought a Bang-Chang-Kueh at a roadside stall, M'sia's tasted better :B

Welcome to the read-from-Geography-textbook-very-busy-jammed-Bangkok-street.

Went to Big C Mart to buy Pocky, it was very very cheap here if compared with M'sia.
Around RM 1 per packet if not mistaken (I'm lousy in remembering mathematical figures btw)
Bro would be overwhelmed with the Vanilla and Chocolate Hazelnut Pocky!

Bought Xiang Pure Oil (上标油), like traditional medicine oil for mosquito stings or minor cut.
Tasted lotsa dried fruits, my undying loveeeeee.
Bought Thai Duck Instant Noodles, Bro'd love it too.

Left Big C Mart, LOL, IT'S KMK AGAIN.

*p.s: C Mart stands for Changlun Market, which was our most convenient place to buy stuffs back in college times.

Bid Uncle goodbye after that.

Headed back to Platinum again, Aunt still had the urge to shop summore :D

Attracted by this lovely shop that sells hand-made bags, around 200 Baht each (RM20).
Soooooooo cute! Imagine my niece with a bag pack like these!
Or my phone / camera would feel proud lying inside too.

Deep sense of guilt struck for spending too much these days lol,
pretended I saw nothing and walked away :(

Left Platinum without buying anything ah we three.

Checked out from KC's Place.
Had lunch at KC's Place's cafe.

1. Fried Pad Thai - IKR, again.  But the one at Platinum dinner tasted better.  Sweet, still.

2. Tom Yam Gong - Super spicy super spicy, anticipate the next Thailand trip to really find a good Tom Yam Soup.

3. Fried Thai Rice - I thought this was Fried Tom Yam Rice from the menu, who knew it turned out to be normal fried rice with Thai rice.  Best for this lunch anyway.  Thai rice emmmmm and the egg aroma emmm.

Don Mueng Airport again.

Thought we were big spender already, but you would really gasp at other's luggage.
Ours didn't exceed quota, in fact, we have a few KGs left O_O

We were not too bad lah afterall :P

Oh and before we left we saw McDonald's, spotted PORK BURGER.
Cost 180 Baht (RM 18)
Yea pricey I know, prolly it was an airport outlet.
Since you know U NO FIND IT IN M'SIA,
and there were some bahts left in pocket so we went ahead for it.

Juicy pork patty, with lettuce and mayonese.
No pork taste.
Big Coke.
Fries.

Oh and there was American Ketchup there, perfect.

So here ends my Bangkok Trip, fat but happy and I RIKE IT :)

All and all that I can say is,
I'm a really lucky girl to have them - my Aunt, my Uncle, and my Mom.
